This can include your name, email address, contact details, resume, education, employment history, skills, job preferences, work authorization information and outreach instructions. Please provide only information relevant to your career search and avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
We also process account activity, service communications, subscription status and technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP addresses, browser information and session cookies. Payment providers process payment details when you make a payment; the service uses billing information and transaction records to manage your membership.
How we use information
We use your information to provide and maintain your account, review your professional profile, research suitable vacancies, identify hiring contacts, prepare outreach, track replies and interviews, provide support, manage billing and protect the service. Completing onboarding does not automatically send outreach. Outreach on your behalf is subject to your authorization and the service's approval process.
When information is shared
Information may be processed by service providers supporting hosting, storage, communications, payments or other service functions. When you authorize outreach, relevant professional information may be shared with recruiters, hiring managers or prospective employers as part of that outreach. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable protections.
Cookies and account security
The website uses cookies and similar browser storage for sign-in, session management and essential functionality. Browser settings can limit cookies, but some account features may not work without them. We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and your choices
We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain appropriate business records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can update your profile through your account and withdraw future outreach authorization through your dashboard. Withdrawal does not undo information already shared with hiring professionals or cancel your paid membership.
Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information or to exercise privacy rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally required. Closing an account or requesting deletion does not automatically reverse previous charges; see the Refund Policy.
Other websites, age and policy updates
Job listings, recruiter websites and payment services may have their own privacy policies. What's Next is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We may update this policy as the service changes and will provide any notice required by applicable law.
